Manager Paul Phillips gave a debut from the bench to former Sheffield Wednesday defender Connor O’Grady against Stalybridge. This promises to be the first of several new faces coming in with a loan for a Conference North player and a work experience placement from a Championship club being lined up. Central defender Alex McQuade, who signed in the summer but hasn’t yet made a start for the club, has gone out on a months’ loan to Ossett United. Reece Fishwick, who made his first start for the club at Hyde last Monday, missed Saturday’s match through illness but is expected to be available for Tuesday’s trip to Mickleover Sport (Kick-off at 7-45)
