Left-sided player Nathan Newall, mainly a left-back, is Buxton FC's latest signing as team manager Craig Elliott continues preparations for the club's second season in the Vanarama National League North.
Nathan, 21 and born in Bradford, started out at Guiseley before joining EFL side Sunderland to play for the Under-23s. He had a loan spell at Darlington last season.
In an interview shortly after signing for the Bucks he said: "The gaffer rang and told me of his ambitions and what he expects of all his players. That was enough to bring me here and I'm really happy about it. As yet I don't know any of the lads but I'm raring to go."
One player departing the club is right-back/winger Declan Poole, who has returned to Connah's Quay Nomads. 'Dec' made 27 (9) appearances, scoring one goal and departs the club with everyone's best wishes.
