Victory on Saturday would have seen 'the Bucks' leapfrog neighbours Ashton but it was the visitors who took the points to further their recent revival by virtue of a superior first-half display and a brace of penalties fired home by striker Wilson inside 12 minutes. The Bucks have signed former Bolton Wanderers forward Luca Navarro. Luca has had a loan spell at Bamber Bridge, while with Bolton, and has been on trial at Hull City recently and will be available for Tuesday's Derbyshire Cup clash with Belper Town. The match with Belper will see the return to the Silverlands of several former players with Grant Black the manager, Steve Ridley in the coaching staff and local player George Milner now plying his trade with the Nailers. Kick off at the Silverlands is 7-45 and there will reduced admission prices for the match of £8 and £5.
